SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

Orders are fulfilled and dispatched as swiftly as possible. Standard shipping is usually within 3 business days of receipt. Express Shipping is 1-2 business days of receipt.

We offer Free standard shipping Worldwide and Express Post and International Post Express for a small fixed fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Christmas and New Year demand, please allow up to 5 business days for Standard Shipping dispatch after order is placed and 2-3 business days for Express Shipping dispatch after order is placed. Thank you for your understanding.

Our warehouse operation hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (AEST). Please allow 3-5 business days for dispatch if your order is placed on a Friday or during sale periods. 

We provide regular email updates with tracking details about the status of your order and delivery.

AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING

Standard Shipping is FREE.
Delivery time is estimated at 2-5 business days after dispatch. Depending on your location (regional addresses may have a longer delivery time than metro regions). 

Express Shipping within Australia is a fixed fee of $15 and will be added to cart at checkout. 
Delivery time is estimated at next day or 1 business days after dispatch. Depending on your location (regional addresses may have a longer delivery time than metro regions).

NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING

Standard International Shipping is FREE. Delivery time is estimated at 6-15 business days after dispatch. Depending on your location (regional addresses may have a longer delivery time than metro regions). 

International Post Express to New Zealand is a fixed fee of $40AUD and will be added to cart at checkout.
Delivery time is estimated at 4-5 business days after dispatch. Depending on your location (regional addresses may have a longer delivery time than metro regions). 

REST OF WORLD

Standard International Shipping is FREE. Delivery time is estimated at 6-15 business days after dispatch. Depending on your location (regional addresses may have a longer delivery time than metro regions). 

International Post Express to the rest of the world is a fixed fee of $80AUD and will be added to cart at checkout.

Due to potential Covid-19 disruptions we do not guarantee delivery times, however express shipping is the fastest and most reliable way to get your shoe delivery quickly and safely. 

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE NOTE

Please keep in mind we cannot control any time frames or details of when your package is clearing customs within your country. Due to security measures, a parcel will be scanned by customs once it enters and then scanned once cleared. Please be patient and understand that neither ourselves nor the courier company can provide any details on this and you will be contacted by customs directly.

Returning or exchanging an item within Australia couldn't be easier. We're pleased to offer FREE easy returns and exchanges where the purchases meet our Returns Policy. Try your purchase on in the comfort of your own home and if you need to return, or exchange your item for another size in the same style. You may return items within 21 days.

If you receive your shoes but they feel a touch too small or larger and curious to compare them with the size up or down, just email us! For a small and FULLY REFUNDABLE security bond of $200, we can post out the 2nd size to try on, whilst you hold onto your first pair.

Try them on in the comfort of your home and compare them to your first size! We'll provide you with a free postage label to send one pair back and refund your security bond. It's as easy as that!

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

Email info@morimoto.com.au to request a return or exchange. A return or exchange must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order and posted back to our warehouse within 21 days. Once the return or exchange is accepted, we will then email a pre-paid return label to your requested email address for you to print and attach to your parcel.

Our compostable padded mailers have a double adhesive strip to re-use the bags for returns.

Please note we accept one return or exchange shipment per purchase order. Subsequent item returns or exchanges will be subject to shipping charges of AUD $20 per item.

Due to our limited quantities exchanges are subject to size availability. If an alternative size is sold out, your item can be returned for a refund. Please note that exchanges can only be made to exchange the size of the same style purchased. Should you wish to choose another style, your item will need to be returned and refunded and you can then repurchase another style.

HOW LONG DO RETURNS TAKE TO BE PROCESSED

We aim to process all returns and exchanges within 3 business days of receiving your product. Whilst it may be sooner, please allow up to 5 business days during sale periods. 

Once your return is received, it will be thoroughly inspected in accordance with our Returns Policy. Once accepted, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your return and refund.

Your refund will be credited back to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase.

We are unable to refund any applicable taxes/duties and shipping fees paid on returned items.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Wherever possible, to ensure your return is processed quickly, please send all items you wish to return from the same order in one parcel. Please make sure items are returned new, unused and with all care cards and dust bags. All shoes must be returned in their original condition with no marks or scuffed soles in an undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes must be tried on on soft carpet ONLY to ensure the soles are not damaged or marked. Please note items that have been worn, used, altered or damaged will not be accepted and the product will be sent back to you.

At this time we do not provide return labels for international returns and exchanges. Please email us at info@morimoto.com.au to request a return or exchange.

Then, please send your pre-paid and insured package with your carrier of choice to the provided address and email your tracking number to us at info@morimoto.com.au so we can keep track of your return, making it faster and smoother.

For International orders, customers are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc required by your country for importing consumer goods. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

We are not responsible for and do not collect the above charges at the time of purchase, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost – charges vary around the world.

As an International customer (Non-Australian) please establish any additional costs around your country’s customs fees, taxes, tariffs and duties to ensure there are no surprise charges when clearing your package through customs. Orders may be returned by customs for various reasons including: non-payment of tariffs, incorrect address or being unclaimed at your local post office.

If you refuse or abandon the shipment, the item will be sent back to us. To claim a refund (minus a 15% restocking fee, minus postage fees) email us at info@morimoto.com.au to inform us of not claiming your item and lodge a return request. Your refund will not be processed until the item is back in the warehouse. Please note, once an item is officially returned to sender, we are unable to track it's whereabouts as there are no tracking details given when a product is returned to sender.

If you have any problems while tracking your package, your first point of contact should be to the courier or your local postal service in your region as per your tracking email.

For International customers, once an item has entered your country it will move into the local postal service of your country. You can use your tracking code for up-to-date information and tracking.

Whilst it is often quickest to contact Australia Post directly, please feel free to contact our support team at info@morimoto.com.au for further assistance.

Due to having processes in place to offer fast shipping, updates to your postal address are not possible after the order is placed. We are unable to redirect parcels or intercept parcels when they have been shipped. So, please allow enough time for delivery to your address or have other arrangements provided to collect the parcel as we do not refund orders if you have to change your shipping address.

Please triple check all shipping details listed are correct prior to completing your order. Once your order has left our warehouse, we are unable to make any changes to this. The address submitted on order is final and any changes required are to be requested through the Courier Service.
