BEFORE WEARING

SHOES THAT DON'T NEED 'BREAKING IN'

Apply a high-quality waterproof spray and allow 24 hours before first wearing your shoes. All our shoes are made using nappa leather – the highest quality grade that exists. Because of this, there’s no need to break in your shoes before your wedding day.

In fact, we recommend not wearing them before to ensure they’re fresh, clean and sparkling for your special photo moments before saying I do. There’s nothing like a brand-new pair of buttery soft high heels to slip into on your wedding day.

BUILT TO LAST

EASY TO LOOK AFTER

Fabric

Apply a quality waterproof spray before first wearing to prevent stains.

Dustbags

Store your shoes in a cool dry place. To protect your shoes from dust, store them in your Meggan Morimoto dustbag.

Metallic Nappa

Apply a quality waterproof spray before first wearing to prevent stains. Leather is delicate, so please take care when wearing your shoes. Due to the foiling that's layered over the leather at high temperature, any scratches that occur are permanent damage and cannot be repaired. Remove dust and/or dirt with a damp cloth and leave to dry for 24 hours.

Stilettos

As silly as it may sound, be careful when wearing your stilettos on boardwalks, cobblestones or any flooring where there are gaps. If your stiletto gets stuck and you have to pull it out, there's a good chance the leather will become damaged.

Leather

Gently wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry for 24 hours.

Silk & Fabric

Dry Clean ONLY.

Pearls

Gently wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry for 24 hours. If you chose the pearl anklets, please note these have been designed to wear as an anklet only. Do not use pearl anklets as a replacement for the leather strap. Pearl anklets can be threaded through the anklet strap loop in addition to the leather strap, however NOT on their own. Please ensure pearl anklets are fastened loosely around the ankle as they are extremely delicate.

Attaching Embellishments

Our embellishments are designed to be attached at the placement of your choosing, whether that’s the front or ankle strap of your shoes. Some styles are left and right foot specific. Please refer to the packaging card they are clipped onto for left and right foot reference.

Store your embellishments in your Meggan Morimoto embellishment box or in a cool, dry place.
